Author of books for people of all ages, senior living executive, dementia practitioner, end-of-life/death doula, public speaker, guest speaker on podcasts, radio and television, and online video content creator, Jen is here to serve others and spark conversations around taboo topics. 

Writing often under her given name, Jennifer Awinda, and also using the pen name Empress Ivory, Jen's series of animations, books, and training tools incorporates dozens of publications as a result of her love for writing, speaking, and educating.

"For two decades I have witnessed how stressful it is for people to navigate senior care, dementia, and end-of-life transitions. My purpose is to alleviate confusion and provide options, resources, expertise, and guidance where dignity, legacies, and final wishes can flourish."
